Job Purpose The primary purposes of your job are to administer human resource procedures, attend to the needs of individual employees, and assist the Human Resource Service Coordinators in their duties.

Performance Outcomes 10% *Provides administrative support to include secretarial, mail retrieval/distribution, answering phones, letter generating, taking minutes from meetings
20% *Provides excellent customer service to all internal/external customers.
4% *Assists HR Coordinators with keeping records, creating and managing documents, and conducting research inquiries.
1% *Schedules departmental meetings and provides administrative support for various committee/departmental meetings as requested.
3% *Verifies employment inquiries from outside customers.
2% *Responsible for departmental phones and dispersing messages appropriately.
5% *Maintains employee personnel files, obtains/updates outstanding employment information in a timely fashion, and insures all required documentation is filed appropriately and in a timely fashion.
5% *Verifies all driver’s licenses, certifications and professional licensure of all prospective new hires.
10% *Conduct the pre-employment physical process with newly hired employees.
10% *Maintain New Hire & Pre-employment packets.
5% *Conduct new hire orientation for new employees.
2% *Responsible for maintaining library and all HR forms/files.
5% *Perform data entry of new hire information and employee changes.
10% *Complete orientation folders/packets, send notifications/reminders to presenters and complete and distribute Orientation Calendar.
8% *Performs other duties as assigned by Director of Human Resources and HR Coordinators.

Working Conditions While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to strong odors, toxic or caustic chemicals and infectious diseases. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Qualifications Education: A.A.S. degree in secretarial/related field or in human resource related field, or combination of education and experience with three to five years progressively responsible experience. Must be able to type min. 60 wpm and be computer literate to include word processing, spreadsheet, e-mail and calendering/scheduling .
